Chances for Cornell

I'm a junior. Black, male, first-gen status. I also reside in VA. I had some issues as a freshman so I'm a bit worried about the application process. So I need some expert advice on my chances.
Freshman Year: 2.75 GPA 3 Unweighted Honors Courses(Algebra I, Geometry,World History I)
Sophomore Year: 3.57 GPA 2 Unweighted Honors Courses(Algebra II,World History II)
Junior Year(Current): 3.5 Weighted GPA 3 Weighted AP Courses (AP English Language, AP Microeconomics, AP Macroeconomics) 2 Unweighted Honors Courses (Precalculus Honors, Physics Honors)
Senior Schedule: AP Calculus BC, AP Biology, AP Literature, AP Government, Spanish 4, Business Management, Business Law
Cumulative GPA:3.25 (Due to freshman year) My school does not rank.

EC's: National Business Honor Society, Future Business Leaders of America (Vice President), Science Honor Society, Freshman Basketball (Captain), JV Basketball (Co-Captain), Winter Varsity Track & Field, Spring Varsity Track & Field, DECA, Junior Math Team, Senior Math Team, AAU Basketball, Travel Soccer. Teach Kindergarten Sunday School every week. Volunteer at local library. I will probably gain more leadership positions as a Senior.
I have excellent recs from my Chemistry teacher who had a PhD and my counselor who will talk about my improvement. Essay will be amazing.

SAT's: 2020 Math:710, WR:700, CR:610. I still have to take Math Level 2, and another subject test.
Cornell is my DREAM school and if I apply I would like to be in their Applied Economics and Management Program.
Schools I plan on Applying to: Cornell, UVA, VTech, James Madison, William & Mary, George Mason, Boston U, Carnegie Mellon.

bump!!!!!!

first, a question:
for your junior year you tell us your weighted GPA, but you don't mention anything for your sophomore and freshmen year. Are those UW or W?

I have to say that your GPA is rather low for some of the schools you're applying to. Cornell is one of the top schools in the nation, and a very few percentage get accepted with your GPA. Your SAT score isn't amazing either.

Good thing is, you do have a few things on your side. You are a first-generation, you have taken difficult courses, and you have good EC's. I would recommend taking your SAT I again and get a 2100+.
I don't know enough for many of the schools you mentioned, but I do know you have a chance at Boston University. I would also like to suggest looking at some of the West Coast Schools, such as UCI, UCR, UCSB, etc.

My GPA is unweighted my school does not weight honors classes. Also what if I can get my SAT up to 2150?

Do try and raise the SAT. 2150 would be better, but the key level for ivies seems to be about 2200/2250 (at least, that's what I've gleaned from many a chance thread!). I'm sure you can do it with adequate prep.

So if i can get my score too 2150/2200 do I have a solid chance?

Your chances are much better with a higher SAT score, but again: your GPA holds you back from having "a solid chance". Don't lose hope though.
