Chances for CSU Fullerton, CSU San Marcos and CSU Long Beach Nursing Major? Fall 2017

SAT : 1090 (Took it again, awaiting score. Should be better)
ACT : 23 (Awaiting new score)
CSU GPA : 4.2
Any other places I should I apply to with a good chance of getting in?
Do I have good odds at getting into CSUF, CSUSM, CSULB?

@Gumbymom Please chance

Your Eligibility index is 4450 SAT/1070 ACT.

For CSU Fullerton, you meet the minimum EI requirements to be considered for the Direct Admit Nursing. Great GPA but your test scores are low in comparison. I think CSUF direct admit will be tough. I think you can get an acceptance as a Freshman at CSU Fullerton, but not for the nursing program.
The minimum eligibility index for the program is: 4200 (SAT) or 1010 (ACT).

CSULB will be another tough admit.
Nursing is the most competitive major at CSULB. Freshmen applicants will be admitted based on a calculated

“STEM Eligibility Index.” The “STEM Eligibility Index” places additional weight on quantitative skills required for success in this major. Refer to STEM Eligibility Index for details of how this index is calculated. Applicants must have a minimum “STEM Eligibility Index.” The minimum for Nursing consideration is 3,300. All eligible applicants will be ranked by the “STEM Eligibility Index” and will be offered admission based on space available.
STEM EI= (CSU GPA X 600) + SAT Critical Reading + (2 X SAT Math)

I think you have a good chance at CSUSM for Pre-Health Science.

Since Nursing programs are all impacted at the CSU’s, I would add CSU Channel Islands, San Bernardino, Dominguez Hills, Cal State LA and Northridge as some other possible options.

Good Luck.
