For SDSU, your SAT and grades seem to be on track. UCSC is going to be a bit more of target/reach for you though. As for CSULB, it’s been a bit harder to dig up info on them.

I think all of these schools are a match for you. Any good EC’s you have would also help.

lol i actually got rejected by SDSU yesterday but thanks! it wasn’t a dream school or anything though so i’m not heartbroken lol

UCSC might be tough for your if your not a california resident given ur subpar sat scores.
the rest should be fine. (i dont understand y u would be rejected from sdsu)

yeah i’m a CA resident, lol yeah i really should’ve taken the subject tests again but i was so over tests by then… lol and i was leaning more toward a CSU instead of UC anyway. haha ah thanks, sdsu is majorly competitive and they had like a 9% acceptance rate this year so it’s tougher to get into than most people think.

UCSC is currently getting more difficult to get into every year (went from ~80% to ~62% acceptance) but I think you have a decent chance. Your GPA is about average, but your test scores are a little low. I think it really depends on the strength of your ECs and how strong your essay is. If you could give a small summary of both, then I can give you a little more information (current UCSC student).
Otherwise: 65% chance at UCSC, 80% SDSU, and no clue about CSULB

You are G2G

Yeah i know UCSC used to be so much easier to get into but they have a really low acceptance rate this year. I’ve been in marching band for 4 years and wind ensemble at school for 3 years and was a LINK crew leader and work as a server and i’m a freshman tutor for volunteer hours at school and i was a volunteer at boys and girls club junior year for a few months. I’m also in NHS and was in CSF sophomore year. Yeah i probably should have said all this before lol. I really don’t know how good my essays were, but i mean it’s not like they totally sucked. One was about being adopted from a foreign country and having a sibling adopted from a different country and the other one was about marching band and how the people in it affected me.

oh yeah and thanks so much for the help!! (:

thanks for chancing me like a week ago, I didnt check. I’ll chance u back :). Whoa didn’t realize you got rejected from SDSU. I got in for business admin with a lower gpa D: but higher SAT.

BACK ON TOPIC
SDSU-Done deal :frowning:
UCSC-I would say you were in, although since you got rejected from SDSU, I’m starting to think this would be ur reach or target. Low reach at worst :stuck_out_tongue:
CSULB-In?

lol thanks so much i appreciate it. i actually did get into UCSC which was cool haha

Haha I was going to chance you back but YAY you got into UCSC! congrats : )
i didnt get into sdsu either btw lol weirdd

you didn’t get into sdsu with a 3.8 GPA and 1920 SAT?? Now i really don’t feel bad about being rejected by them lol…jeez i can’t believe that. thanks! (:
