Chances for CU Boulder

<p>Just sent in my first application to cu boulder and I'm really anxious to hear back.... until then, I'll let you guys be the admissions counselors! tell me what you think my chances at getting in are please! </p>

<p>currently a senior
GPA: 3.0
rank: top 50%
(My gpa/ class rank were adversely effected by various circumstances in my life which i wrote about in my essays. other than that, I've been in all ap and preap, classes except math)
sat: 1850
AP scores: 4 english 3, 4 world history, 3 psychology, 5 us history
major: history
Race: hispanic
I live in Texas, applied as an out of state student
The application allowed for listing 5 activities and 5 achievements/awards, and I filled out 5/5 for both</p>

<p>p.s. according to college board 87% of applicants are admitted</p>

<p>i think you can get in. Boulder isn’t that hard to get into but i heard their applications increased a lot due to the new marijuana laws so it might be a lil harder to get into.</p>

<p>Your a match. I would be surprised if you did not get accepted, however your GPA may hurt you since it is below their average.
