chances for dartmouth and brown? :)

Hey everybody, I was wondering if someone could take a look at my stats for applying at Dartmouth, and if it would be worth applying early admission, your input would be fantastic!

GPA: 4.0
Weighted GPA: 4.45
SAT: 720 reading, 750 math, 750 writing
Class Rank: 3% out of ~160 students
AP Exams: Calc AB, Physics B, Physics C Mechanics, Biology, Euro History, US History, Psych, all 5's

ECs: Freshman Class Officers, Junior Class Officers, 4 year varsity xc and tennis, bowling sophomore year, won Economics Challenge States and took 4th in the nation, Game Theory Club for four years, musical for four years, marching and jazz bands for 4 years, choir for 3 years. Trumpet section leader junior and senior years, trumpet squad leader sophomore year

Awards: National Merit Semifinalist, Choir Outstanding Freshman, several band and school awards

Also, I've taken several of my AP courses as independent studies, (AP Psych and AP Physics C), and am planning on asking these teachers for letters of recommendation, which I'm sure will be excellent. My guidance counselor is my coach and we've known each other for quite some time, so I'm assuming that that letter will be great as well. I've also taken several courses at a local university, including calc 2, a higher phsyics class, and a chem course.

if you leave a link, I’ll check out your stats and try and give a fair judgement of your chances

I think you have a better chance than most, especially if you just bump up the sat to 2300+. Have you taken SAT 2s? Be sure to get 750+ on two/three of them, usually subjects you’ve taken the ap class for are the easiest to score well on. Obviously, they will still be reaches, but you can make them low reaches with a good essay  Hopefully that was good advice…

You’ve got a good shot at Dartmouth, but I’d recommend also taking the ACT.

You have a very good chance. Look at Rice and William & Mary if you need similar options (but with much better weather! )

Dude, I want to go to your school! Game Theory club sound so incredibly BA
Anyway, I think you have a really good shot, a better shot than most at least. Keep in mind it is Ivy League, and no one has a sure shot. I dig the trumpet playing/varsity sports, and your independent studies/additional courses shows great initiative and drive. SAT IIs are needed, but I’m sure you’ll do fine on those. If you’re not a jerk and can right a good essay in addition to all of your credentials, I think you have a pretty good shot.
Chance Back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1373235-chance-some-mid-western-colleges.html

You have as good of chance as anyone, apply and hope for the best.
