I'm white and I come from a rich community. I will not be applying for financial aid. My essay is about being obsessive-compulsive and how it's made me good at math. both my teachers giving me recommendations adore me.

Help anyone? I'm freaking out!

I can only speak for the UC’s and over there you are looking great. I would be surprised if you didnt get into berkeley and ucla

so you think the low gpa freshman/sophmore year won’t hurt me much? since i got my act together eventually…

is the 3.9 weighted or unweighted?

and uc’s do not look at freshman grades at all. So that should help you out a lot

weighted… yeah i got like a 3.3 freshman year so even getting well over a 4.0 last year didnt bring me over a 4.0 overall. it sucks. my weighted gpa for just 10-12 is a 4.1 though

the UC’s for sure!!! But keep in mind, freshman and sophomore year ARE important. Maybe not as important as junior and senior year, but they are still defintely important!
