<p>Won an award in school all four years for being a "good citizen". I don't really know what the award is about, but a teacher pretty much gives me the award for being a "star". (literally...)</p>
<p>Extracurriculars:
Badminton: (3 years)- Varsity Team Captain
Mock Trial (4 years)- On the state roster all four years. Won outstanding attorney three years. Top lawyer at state tournament junior year. Team Captain next year.
Debate (4 years)- Team captain next year. Won best speaker this year.
Student Council (4 years)- Recording Secretary this year, senior class president next year. Committee chair. I did a lot of stuff with it...<br>
National Honor's Society (2 years)- Tutored kids in my school.
Spanish National Honor's Society (2 years)- Also tutored kids</p>
<p>Violin (9 years)- First chair in top orchestra at school. First chair in the top orchestra in the Youth Symphony in Town. Won the director's award in middle school for it. Played in the pit orchestra for the musical for three years. Went to an audition music camp over the summer.</p>
<p>Community service: About 100+ hours. Mostly stuff in my area like volunteering at charity walks, animal shelter, salvation army, and the hospital.</p>
<p>Volunteered in India over summer with a street children organization. Helped publicize for funding, and taught children a little bit of English. </p>
<p>Interned at the State's Attorney office in my area for summer and got to shadow different lawyers.</p>
<p>Did DNA research at the Field Museum in Chicago with the scientists in the DNA lab.</p>
