Hi, I’m currently a junior and I want to go to UC Davis and Major in Environmental Science.

Extracurricular:
Intern at a Chinese school for one summer

Link Crew: 1 year

I’m planning to intern this summer at the AQMD (Air Quality Management District) which I think is pretty legit and also go for SCVA Honor Choir in October. I’m mostly worried about my SAT scores.

You have an excellent GPA! I’d say you might have a shot even with your SAT scores now.

But I advise you to bring up your SAT scores just in case. Continue with your extracurriculars, and start thinking about your personal statement, and you’re a sure-in :D

My older son got in with a 3.9 UW GPA/4.2 WGPA and ACT 25 last fall. Loves the school and the program.
You have a great chance. I would try to raise your SAT just in case. Admissions this year have been very competitive. My younger son was rejected for CS.

I think you’ll get in. My GPA is 3.8 unweighted and 4.2 weighted. My SAT score is lower than yours and I got in. I got into biology which is the most impacted major too. I say don’t worry about your SAT score too much. Focus on your personal statement more because I think that’s what really got me in.
