Chances for direct-BSN!

Hi I’m applying to direct BSN schools all over the country. I was wondering if I have a good list and whether I have chances for them

GPA: 3.61 uw/ 3.9 w (A’s in all math and science, 2 C’s in one year of foreign language but A’s in the other two years, B’s in English, A’s in history, A’s in elective) took 10 APS (English Lang, English lit, apes, physics 1, physics c, bio, chem, ap comp sci, ap calc AB/bc, ap psych) 5’s on calculus AB/BC and bio, 4 on Ap physics 1 and chem, 3 on ap English Lang and APES.
Currently have only one B (in ap English literature)
CA resident, UC gpa 4.1 CSU gpa 3.91

Speak German and Russian fluently

SAT: 1st time 1260 (640 CR/620 M) 2nd time 1270 (670 CR/ 600 M) the second time I got less wrong than the first on both sections but the curve was harsh lol…super score 1290

ECs: really good, lots of music and volunteering in the community and hospital, shadowed nurses and volunteered at a live in nursing facility. My ECs show that I have a passion for nursing and am truly interested

My recs are good and my essays are pretty good as well

Applying EA (all nursing):
Temple university
Drexel university
Case Western Reserve
Seattle U
University of Vermont

RD:
UCLA
UCI
Other UCs but not for nursing
Upenn (huge reach)
SDSU direct nursing

Possibly other places for nursing too. I’m mostly worried about my sat and my uw gpa is on the low side due to one class of FL. Thanks!

You seem like a moderately strong candidate for Temple university, Drexel university, Case Western Reserve, Seattle U
University of Vermont, and UC Irvine, but UCLA and UPenn are huge reaches.

@silas1829 What’s the average ACT/SAT score & GPA for nursing applicants at UCLA? Can you chance me as well?

UCLA does not publish their average SAT/ACT and GPA for nursing applicants. With a 2.3% acceptance rate, you should be at least above the 50th percentile in GPA and test scores to have a chance at an acceptance.

You want at least an UW GPA of 3.9, Fully weighted of 4.3, SAT scores of 1390+ and ACT score of 31+.

@futurenp300:

SDSU: High Match (EI is 4388 which is on the low side unless local)
UCI: Low Reach (average UC GPA 4.21)
UCLA: Reach

Which other UC’s and what other major?
