Chances for Duke, Northwestern, UVA, UNC, NYU Stern, UMichigan?

<p>Bonjour, </p>

<p>I'm an Asian Male I want to know my chances for the colleges listed above. I'm not instate for any of the Public State Schools (except my safety Rutgers). I plan to do business and apply for the undergrad business schools that are available </p>

<p>WGPA (No unweighted): 4.19/5.0
AP Scholar Award</p>

<p>SAT: 2220 Single, 2240 Superscore (690 R, 800 M, 750 W)</p>

<p>SAT IIs: 760 Math II
Scheduled to take SAT II History and retake Math II in November</p>

<p>APs: AP Calc BC (5), AP Microeconomics (5), AP Language (4)</p>

<p>Current APs: AP Physics B, AP Literature, AP Macro, AP Prob & Stat.</p>

<p>ECS: Kinda Lacking in leadership but:</p>

<p>Officer in FBLA(Kind of a BS Club)
~300 Volunteer Hours in weekend Chinese School and from afterschool club
Assistant Coach in Youth Soccer League
Did Lab Research at Boston College last Summer (rec pending)
Helped out using Excel and other programs to chart data for study on Management Systems in pretty good university in Shanghai, China (got rec)
Volunteered in Hospital</p>

<p>Recommendations (Only going to send 3):
1 Probably average recommendation from Junior Lit teacher
1 Maybe good recommendation from Freshmen History teacher I have good relationship with
1 Good Recommendation from Assistant Professor in George Washington University
1 Possible Recommendation from Physics Professor in Boston College </p>

<p>You have a solid chance at all of those schools except possibly Northwestern. However, with such prestigious universities, there is no guarantee. </p>

<p>Northwestern and Duke are extremely hard to get into, and some of Northwestern’s programs, such as communications and some engineering, may be more difficult to get into than Duke’s programs. </p>

<p>You should retake your SAT score and aim for a 2250 superscore. Otherwise, good chances, assuming UW GPA equivalent is about a 3.9.</p>

<p>I’m probably going to drop Duke since it’s highly selective and my school’s Naviance charts show that people in my range typically are getting rejected</p>

<p>As for retaking my SAT…aim for a 2250 Superscore? That’s 10 points more than my current superscore…</p>

<p>I’m pretty bent on doing business though</p>
