@quinamatics What are your qualifications? There’s no need to belittle his achievements.
@paulryu Very impressive, you are competitive for Stanford and Harvard. You will get in all the rest.
I think that you have a great shot at all the schools on your list. Your scores are great, and ECs are really good too. If your essays and LORs are up to the mark, I can see you getting into many colleges from your list.
Best of luck!
Thanks everyone, I appreciate all the insight. Perhaps I am a “typical Asian applicant” like @quinamatics suggests. Regardless, I hope that isn’t what I conveyed to the admissions people, nor do I believe that is the truth. Fingers still crossed, but I will be happy wherever I end up. Chancellors scholars interview and Penn interview went well. Harvard on Tuesday.
Also, feel free to keep chancing me! Curious to everyone’s opinions.
Your statistics are amazing! There are only a few hundred other people in the nation with scores as good as yours. You also have the prestigious achievements to back them up, and even if they aren’t revolutionary, they are more than enough to put you well ahead of most other applicants and the “typical Asian.” Not to say that you’re guaranteed admission anywhere, but I think you would be highly competitive wherever you may apply. Duke, Rice, and even Penn are your more likely acceptances in my opinion. Columbia, Harvard, and Stanford are by no means out of your reach but are harder to get in to. Regardless, you will probably at least make it into one of your schools. Did you apply ED or EA to any of them?
Good luck on the rest of your interviews! Chance me back?

Harvard interview yesterday was wonderful. I learned so much about the university that would have been impossible to know from anyone not a current student or alumnus, and I learned a lot about myself as well. The interviewer was great, and gave me pertinent advice for the future. Also, he said that the interview shouldn’t take more than 45 minutes in email correspondence, so I was pleasantly surprised when we finished and we had been talking for about an hour and 20 minutes. It was a great experience, and I have thoroughly enjoyed the interview process. Can’t wait until med school interviews.
@paulryu Keep us posted!
“Unbelievable” stats!
Your stats are great, but, like me, you represent the typical Asian. I am working on improving myself past this, but try to diversify your interests (or atleast appear as if you are doing so on your application) to a decent extent, but don’t look like a jack of all trades.
Chance me?:

@paulryu did you get in?
I will be very scared if you got rejected by any of these schools lol.
Also, @AnnieBot nice twitch stream! Unless… gasp you’re taking someone’s username into another website!
