Can I please have honest chances for WUStL, USC, Duke, Stanford, UChicago, Northeastern, University of Washington, JHU, cAsE, and Vanderbilt? Should I aim for lower? I don't know what caliber schools I should be applying to because of my low GPA and high test scores. All the GPA/SAT scattergrams are freaking me out! Thank you in advance.

GPA: 4.1 W, 3.6 UW (very low freshman year grades); 16 AP classes taken in all

Honors: National Merit Semifinalist, Johns Hopkins Talent Search Award Winner, National AP Scholar

Activities: Founded a local youth group, student director of local university's youth science camp, co-founder of YAF club at school, school newspaper editor, MUN committee chair (1 yr.) and ambassador (1 yr.), church newsletter editor, (umpaid) internship at local hospital

Research: will be published this fall in JEMS for work with my mentor over the last two summers

Essays: I think my rough drafts are pretty good, and so do 2 of my teachers, but there's still a lot of time to change them (I'm not applying early) so hopefully they'll become even better!
