<p>I sent recommendations from my professor at UNC Wilmington and from the Manager of Jr. Civitan; I submitted an extra essay as well and an update. I also had interviews with Dmouth and Wake that I feel went very well.</p>

<p>My total guess would be that you will have no trouble getting into Wake. Dartmouth presses for diversity, including geographic, so being from NC (and rural NC at that) will help.
Not sure about Duke and Penn.
Did you attend NCSSM (I ask because you mention Ventures and often those kids seem to overlap with NCSSM students)? If so, then I think your chances at all schools will be good. If not, then your stats still look good but they will want to know (and will find out) how competitive your high school is. An A in a non competitive pond is different than an A in a terribly competitive pond filled with bright kids.
Off topic question…does your desire (or lack thereof) to continue band play into your college choices much? Not sure Dartmouth’s is too active with pit/mallet stuff.
