chances for duke? what do you think?

hey so my dreeeammm school is to go to duke university. im applying early decision and i have already visited the campus and met a chemistry professor as well.
i have a over 100 gpa (weighted) and about 99 unweighted (i think)...for those who use 4.0 i have a 4.0.lol
i have a 2050 SAT (740 math, 710 writing, 610 reading) i cant read its too hard.
i also have a 31 ACT and i also just took the one from today (hoping for a 32-33)
i do a lottttt of EC and i am very involved in the community. i have high ranked positions on most or even all of my ECs.
i am also in science research and i am entering siemens, intel, etc.
im on varsity tennis and i am an all county player and captain as well.
on top of it, i have good connections to duke and im getting a letter of rec from a good family friend who is an alumni and i am hoping to also get an interview.

is this enough for duke you think???? idk what im gonna do if i cant get in!!!
but if not my other choices are emory, vanderbilt and not sure what else...im putting all my eggs into one basket in a way...

I think you did great. You definitely have a big chance. Especially Siemens and ISEF are great.

Well, you are definitely going to be a competitive candidate. Your stats will get the door opened for you, but its a crap shoot for who the admissions office lets in. You have just as much of a chance as anyone.

low SATs so I’d say a 35-40% chance.

Unless you’re being recruited as a tennis player to Vandy/Emory/Duke, I don’t think you have a great shot unless you increase either your SAT or ACT scores.

Yeah, you better hope you actually got that 33 or better ;)

i got my 33!!!
better shot??

probably, yeah,you could get in.
chance me at college apps are a calculation.

The 33 gives you a great shot. I don’t think getting a letter from an alum will necessarily help you unless he/she is a PROMINENT alumni, like he/she donates a million dollars a year or something.
Also, just entering Siemens/Intel won’t help you…you need to PLACE or do something extraordinary
The tennis looks good, but unless you’re getting recruited, it won’t help as much as everyone says it will
What’s your rank? This is huge as anyone can take honors classes and get a 4.0 (which I’m assuming because you’ve mentioned nothing about AP classes, unless your school doesn’t offer them). GPA means nothing unless placed in context with the rest of your class.

SAT needs a work if you’re using it.

ACT 33 is actually a lot better than 31. I do want to see individual scores, but if just looking at composite, you put yourself a lot higher than a month ago (imo).

Other than that, with little more leadership, I think you’re in great shape.

(Please do an interview if you want to get into a college of your choice. It tells the college who you are besides from the paper. For me? Magician)

english: 31
reading: 34
math: 34
science: 31
writing: 9

and forgot to mention that i am and IB student. my school does not offer AP (except calculus in senior year)
I am a full IB diploma candidate with BC Calculus
(IB chem, physics, history, english, {math methods in junior year}, french)

and i also wanted to add the other scores on my ib tests last year
(these tests are out of 7)
IB math methods SL-7
IB physics SL-6

i also play the xylophone and plan to send in the art supplement

good shot. the new act scores will help and you’re pretty solid in all categories. are you valedictorian/close to it?

to be honest, i really have no idea where i stand in terms of rank and valedictorian because my school does not rank (or so they say) but i could see myself as top 5%-10% out of a class of 350-400
