Chances for Duke?

I am currently a junior at a high school in NC
I am either 1 or 2 in my class, depending upon how the competition goes next year. (out of about 130)
My unweighted GPA is 4.0 and about 5.4 weighted
I scored a 32 on the ACT and a 2140 on the SAT
I am a national merit scholar semi finalist, and plan to submit duke as one of the two schools on the school submission form
I have served as both Vice President and President of the national spanish honors society
I will have taken 10 AP classes, and will more then likely receive a 4 or higher on the ones i have not yet taken (4 on APUSH, 5 Gov, 5 BC Calc, 4 Physics C)
I have logged many hours of community service, including big brother big sister, helping out at my church, and volunteering at a hospital among other things
I played football and ran track freshman and sophomore years
I played in both the band and jazz band freshman and sophomore years, first chair trombone

I would deeply appreciate some insight as to what my chances might be. Thank you

i left out a lot of info because i cant put it all down off the top of my head…if you have any specific questions i can easily answer them

Any SAT II’s?

you stand a fair chance, although those underclassman athletic ECs won’t mean a whole lot since you don’t do them anymore and they won’t be something that you would contribute as a student at Duke. but good academics and such. check out the admits page cause a bunch of people have posted their stats (RD decisions came out today)

According to my rejection today apparently 2nd in your class, 32 ACT, president of Student govt, team captain, league MVP, etc…, isn’t enough to get into duke

i havent taken them yet but i plan to take math II US History and Spanish
Spanish and Math 2 im sure are locks for 750 or above but US History im not so sure about

i would also like to add that i think my essays and recommendations would be excellent to amazing, considering both the people i plan to get to write them love me, and one of them is a duke graduate. My school is not very big and my teachers know me very well
