so.. what do you guys think? & thanks in advance

If you want to get into any of those schools on that list (or at least have a good chance) you are going to have to retake the SAT. Students at these schools have a mean score of 2200+. You should probably just send ACT score only I guess…

Stanford: Medium Reach
Caltech: High Reach
Yale: Medium Reach
Columbia: High Match

Make sure you have some safety schools.

Given your demographics, your test scores and GPA are on the low side for acceptance(though the class rank is helpful) to stanford, and getting in will be a real stretch. As previously stated, stick with ACT.
Stanford and Yale are high reaches. I think Columbia would probably take you ED though…

hmmm but i thought stanford wants to see ALL ur previous scores D:
i took the SAT and ACT one year apart ( SAT 1st, then ACT this yr) so it shud be alright right??

I know my essays will probably be what gets me accepted or rejected… how can u tell if it’s a good essay or not?? do u have to be like SUPER unique? any suggestions… :[

bumppp more opinions please!

stanford/yale require you to send all test scores from EITHER the ACT or the SAT. so if you send only your ACT, you don’t need to send them anything from the SAT, and visa versa.
umm…honeslty I think your chances at both Stanford/Yale are veryyy low. Your stats arent impressive, you’re ASIAN, you’re from California…most likely deferred.

-sigh- life sucks…
yeah my stats are not that high but i worked my butt off these four years… although ppl say my ECs are not very good, i had to work really hard to get my positions for the clubs& i truly am dedicated to my activities (unlike many who have lots of clubs+titles but do ljttle)… very disappointing indeed

bump?? any more opinions…?

bummmppppppp…

ummm all seem to e hard reaches for you…

Maybe ED Columbia is your best bet? It’s kinda late to make such decisions isn’t? as the deadline is like in 15 days lol

lol haha true :] well i guess regular decision for me~ thanks everyone~
