I plan on applying early action and majoring in business.

GPA- 3.6 unweighted (on a 4.33 Scale)
4.1 weighted

ACT scores- 27 composite (I plan on retaking it in September and NEU also super scores right?)

I took honors all throughout high school except I took regents Geometry and regents Alg2/trig

I took AP chemistry junior year and got a 4 on the AP. I am going to take AP Stats and AP German senior year

I play volleyball.. Both varsity and club (winter season) and I will be captain of varsity my senior year

I am a member of NHS and the president of German Club at school and I also took part in an exchange program my sophomore year where I spent the summer in Germany

I work at Cornell University and volunteer at a local science museum once a week

Raise your ACT score.
Don’t worry TOO much about the SAT II’s, as Northeastern doesn’t require them (at least not last year). But if you feel that getting higher scores will help your chances, go right ahead. Unfortunately NEU doesn’t accept 4’s anymore for AP credit, which is a little ridiculous, so you gotta get a 5 if you want credit, but don’t stress over it. Otherwise, you seem like a good candidate! Good luck! :)

meghanupsidedown where are you getting this info on AP credit…the following link on the NEU admissions website for 2012-2013 details AP Equivalents for scores of 4 & 5.

Yes, 4 or 5 gets AP credit.

APs are used for placement and are not necessarily considered for admission.

maggie, I was told by one of my professors. That’s good that it’s not true :)
