I understand that my GPA is slightly on the lower side, but is there a good chance my course rigor, and SAT scores may make up for this?

Thanks,

I suggest that you wait until regular admission because EA only takes into account your gpa and SAT score. Although your gpa is slightly on the lower side, you have excellent leadership positions, extracurriculars, and course rigor that could potentially make up for it in the regular decision.
UGA admissions tends to compare you to people from your school. Since you are in state, it’s pretty common for everyone in your class to apply to uga (at least thats how it is at my school), even as their safety school. If most people applying from your school have really high GPAs and test scores, it may be more difficult for you to get in.
