Applying ED- chances please??? Thankss=)

No offense, but your scores are a tad low for JHU. Aside from that, things look good.

I'd say the same as colinization. Also, if I were you, I wouldn't send out the sat II scores unless you retake them. I don't know about the spanish one but a 630 in physics basically says you don't know much physics given the generous curve that college board gives for the test.

just make sure you are more than just numbers

Fortunately for you, (unfortunately for me), JHU takes test scores with a grain of salt. Their priorities are thus: (according to their info session)
1. Transcript
2. ECs
3. Essay
4. Recommendations
5. Standardized Test scores

^ yeah, thats what they say but the admissions officer for the greater DC area said that he views the essays as # 1 or 2 in importance

^Crap; that does not benefit me.

if I got a 31+ on the ACT-- would I stand a much better chance? (b/c I somewhat tried to calculate it out, since the first time I took it I had noo idea what to expect and had to guess on a total of like 20 questions... so a 28 wasnt too bad for that! lol)

31 would give you a solid chance

your scores are ok. Your GPA is good. I like your EC's. Just work on that essay and you would be a solid candidate!

would anyone here want to read my essay? It's very on the line, and now making me nervous lol. Everyones said its very strong and has an excellent voice- you definitely get a feel for me- but its not one of those super creative topics (like idk... why the world is like a giant oreo or something lol) buttt... it does have a creative spin/ title... so idk? maybe? pleasee someone read=)

PM me and I'll read it.

PM me the essay too. I'll give you a very harsh/realistic critique :)

ok people- got a 30 on ACT =P buttt... still a step up from the 28 -- any better chances? lol

Before you were in their 25th percentile. Now you're in their 40 something percentile, so it's a step up, but not a drastic one.But bear in mind, Hopkins doesn't care too much about standardized testing.
