<p>Hi,</p>

<p>I am interested in applying Early Decision II to Vanderbilt. Would you guys be so kind as to chance me? I would like to thank you in advance for you time and efforts.</p>

<p>I attend a nationally recognized elite college preparatory school in SF. 'A's are hard to come by and there is serious grade deflation. My school sends numerous kids to the ivies and Stanford every year.</p>

<p>GPA-3.25 UW
Junior Year Courses-AP Calculus BC, AP Chemistry, AP US History, Honors English III, Spanish III
Senior Year Courses-Multivariable Calculus, AP Computer Science, AP Microeconomics, Honors Human Physiology, Honors English IV, Independent Study in Web Development (At the quarter I had a 3.67 and I am on pace for a 3.83 for the semester).</p>

<p>Testing:
SAT I: 2280 (CR 730/ M 780/ W 770)
SAT IIs: Math IIc-780, Biology Molecular-740, Physics-700, Chemistry-770, US History-720
AP Scores: Calculus BC-5 with AB Subscore-5, Chemistry-4, US History-4</p>

Intern at UCSF
Intern at Project Inform (HIV/AIDS Outreach organization)

<p>I would say you have a pretty good shot at ED II. Your SAT I is solid, and so are your SAT IIs. I might just send my best two of those if I were you, though. As long as your class rank is decent, your unweighted GPA is not quite so important</p>

<p>Your ec’s and awards look good as well. </p>

<p>Write some stellar essays and get some good recommendations, and I think you’ll have a strong chance of getting in.</p>

<p>Hmm correct me if I’m wrong but I remember reading from the website that the school doesn’t have an ED II plan :-?</p>

<p>Yes they do. Now you are competing with IVY wannabes, ED1 was your best choice, any case I still think you have a good chance based on your SAT1 scores which are good. Good luck, you need it.</p>
