Chances for ED at Lehigh? Will chance back

I’m almost certain that I’m applying to Lehigh ED. I’ll list my statistics, but it’s important to note that I go to a top 15 high school in the country that’s extremely vigorous.

GPA: 3.45/4.0
SAT: 1890 Math: 650, Writing: 650, CR: 590
Ethnicity: Latino
Race: White
AP’s and Honors: 14 total (throughout 4 years)
EC’S: Pretty solid but I don’t want to list all of them. Part of a selected student government committee type thing which looks good, I volunteer, I’ve played basketball my whole life, and I’m part of a student broadcasting channel for sports games.

I saw that Lehigh accepts 59% of ED applicants, and they love applications that show interest in the school. I visited lehigh about a month ago and I’m applying ED, so I’ve definitely shown interest. I’ve been writing a good essay about my Latino identity, do you think that’s a good topic? Or does Lehigh receive too many of those? I’m not sure if that’s the best topic but I have a good essay on it so far. Please chance me!

Although I don’t have much credibility, I can tell you that your test scores are on the lower end of the accepted scores. The lowest that they take is 580 on CR and 640 on Math. If you do say that you do go to one of the top schools in the nation, I would guess you have a fair shot.

Don’t take my opinion fully as I’m not really one to give you a true “chancing”, I only know the test scores. Though, visiting the school is really good to my knowledge and yours as well, so I’m sure you have a decent chance.

Thanks @knears, yes my scores could be a little low. I’m retaking the SAT in October and hope to get my score up to 1300.

Best of luck on the test @obligatoryname!
