I'm very interested in business and finance! Chances? Replies are greatly appreciated!! Thanks!!

Your stats are pretty good, and you've got some good courses. But it doesn't seem like you have any big ECs... you have one leadership position, which isn't very big, unless if you're captain of a nationally competitive team or something. Stern weighs heavily on leadership, I think.

Do you have any big awards (statewide, national... regional)? Those help too.

Being ED helps, though.

Umm... I'm a National Merit Scholar (commended) but not much else big awards....

Ya my weakspot is definetly my EC's. I'm thinkng that maybe I would state in my essay or otherwise that I have much experience in the world of marketing and retail. Hopefully my retail experience and my high math credentials will help me get in ED.... thanks for the feedback, any more???

I'd emphasis the marketing aspect. I'm not sure the retail experience is an asset, other than you had summer jobs. Not sure how that would correlate to the world of higher finance or other endeavors at Stern.

ya i think ill emphasize the whole marketing thing.... i'm just looking for some kind of hook into stern if my grades and SATs arent enough....

ward786, your stats are very similar to my daughter's. She was accepted into Stern by ED. I think you have a good chance.

thanks!!! anyone else??? Please???? I really need some feedback!!

No need to retake SAT. I don't think they'll notice any difference with a score of 700 and a score of 680.
