Intended major: History or Government

Applying to ILR

If you reflected everything you just said in your supplementals and essay, Im sure you have a very high chance man. Your ACT is a bit low and I can’t comment on your GPA without know more about your school, but other than you have a strong fit. Good luck bro!

You definitely have a good chance. Lots of leadership and good scores. I would put in an application. Good luck!

id say a very good shot at ILR especially because your ecs fit ILR. Good luck!

Would US Senate Page fit for ILR?

@TheMaskedPanda probably chance me back? <a href=“ILR ED Chances? - Cornell University - College Confidential Forums”>ILR ED Chances? - Cornell University - College Confidential Forums;

I think you’re a good candidate @TheMaskedPanda (and the US Senate Page fits).

Just wondering, which 10 of those EC’s are you putting in for your Common App?

Very good chances by the way, but I’m sure you already know that

Excellent ECs. I would take the Oct ACT in an attempt to strengthen your application. University-wide, the 25th-75th % ACT scores were 30-34 with 32 being the 50th %. That puts your 31 below the 50th %.

@myrealname I put Page, Model UN, my startup, my non profit, DECA, Chinese Club, Softball, Church, Leadership Club, and Trivia Club.

What do you think I should put?

@CT1417 I am not sure if I should retake them because I consider myself pretty lucky to get a 31. On the 10+ practice tests I have taken, I have never got 30+. I have never broken 28 on the science section and I got a 33 on the test.

This is what I found for ILR stats: http://www.suny.edu/Student/downloads/Pdf/Admissions_qf_stateop.pdf

IDK if I should retake it because I don’t know if I will get 31+ or never match it.

I also got a recommendation from the Secretary for the Majority at the US Senate if that helps.

Government major? The only major at the ILR school is ILR

@TheMaskedPanda I was wondering the same thing. I hope you didn’t say on your application to ILR that you want to be a history or government major :-(

@zenithar143 @brantly I copied and pasted from my other chance thread. Sorry about that. I want to major in ILR at ILR.
