Chances for ED to Emory College?

<p>Chances for ED to Emory(feel free to be brutal as my stats are much lower than many applying to Emory).</p>

<p>-GPA: 3.9 Unweighted 4.9 Weighted
-In IB program( HL's are English Spanish ITGS and SL's are Biology Econ Math)
-Taken many pre-IB courses(Geometry, Trig, Chem, etc.) '
-Two honors courses(American History and Calculus)
-Two college courses(Statistics and College Algebra)
-31 ACT(English killed me but 35 science brought me up)
-1360 SAT
-Extremely Invloved in clubs(Vice-President Key Club, President/Founder of Amnesty International, other various officer positions)
-Rho Kappa and Mu Alpha Theta honor societies
-JV baseball
-400 volunteer hours at local nursing home
-Ranked top 1% in county(of 79,000 students)
-Three teacher reccomendations and one reccomendation from Emory professor/graduate
-Applying no financial aid(will this actually increase chances?)</p>

nothing is certain, so write a solid essay, get great recs, etc.

<p>Thanks for the reassurance, it just seemed that after reading all of the other Emory chances threads that I was pretty sub-par(31 ACT).</p>

<p>Yeah, I don't know what you meant when you said your stats are much lower than everyone else. Your gpa is very high, and your test scores are average (for Emory). Your ec's are average at the least, and you probably have good recs. You have great chances of getting in. And no, Emory is a need-blind school.
