I want to ED UPenn/apply to probably JHU, UMich, UCBerkeley, UCLA, UCSD, maybe Georgetown...

What are my chances at these schools?

You have great scores and ECs, the GPA seems low however. Bearing that in mind…
UPenn- Reach JHU- Low reach UC Berkeley- Low reach Umich- Match UCLA- Match, UCSD- Low Match Georgetown- Match
Good luck! Feel free to chance me if you have time.

I think you have a chance ED at upenn… I know a lot of people who have gotten in ED with similzr or even lower stats… but then again maybe it’s because they were internationals… and some of them legacies… I’m not sure, but it’s definitely worth it to give it a try!

With stats like that I would say your chances ED UPenn are low reach but for regular it’s a medium/ high reach. I know a kid with a higher gpa and lower SAT from my school who applied ED and got in so you have a chance!! Good Luck!

I think UPenn is a low reach for you, UCB is probably a low reach for you too, and I think all the others would be matches. You have pretty good stats, good luck!

U Mich/UCSD: Low Match
UCLA/UC Berkeley: Match
JHU/Georgetown: High Match
U Penn: Low Reach

melanieu, I’m international… Does that really matter in admissions? I live in China if that matters… :o

bump? anyone else

What is your intended major?

of course it does! Because there are a lot of applicants and few seats… Everywhere applying is competetive for internationals. btw are you female or M?

Askar96, I’m a girl. But I hold US citizenship (though I’ve lived overseas for the majority of my life.) Am I considered international?

That’s good ^ ^, I wouldn’t consider you as my opponent, because I’m going to apply for ED too…

I think you have a very good chance. Solid SAT score, rigorous course load, and strong extra curricular activities. If you write a unique essay and have great teacher recommendations then I think you’re a high match/low reach. Then again, it being an ivy, you never know, but I think you’ll be okay. JHU and Gtown I would say high match as well. If you have a chance, chance me back?

@Askar96 what do you mean opponent? I’m curious :o why not?

Because I’m boy… They accept equal number of boys and girls…
