Thanks I realize my scores are weak for NU. I have been prepping for the SAT and have been scoring over a 1400 on the M and V. So my scores should hopefully go up. As far as the SATII, I will not be able to retake them in time for the ED round. Hopefully that will not hurt me too much. However I do stand a fighting chance of being admitted ED, don't I?

I honestly don't think you have that much to worry about. I got into NU regular decision and I never took SATs or SATIIs (althouh, I realize they are required now) and I only got a 30 on my ACT. I was 1st in my class, I had a 4.375 weighted GPA (4.0 unweighted), but my school isn't highly competitive...it's just normal. If you REALLY want it and you want to apply ED, just make sure you show who you are in your essays, be an individual, and show that you will be an asset to the school

Thanks for the info. That is fairly reassuring. I am just feeling a bit nervous because I heard they do not defer people from ed to rd. It is either reject or accept. Btw they actually do not require the SAT II for most majors, it is only reccomended.
