I am a white female at a reputable public school in Wisconsin who just applied ED1 to Vanderbilt!!! So what are my chances??!!

GPA: 4.0 UW, 4.5 weighted
ACT: 31
High school: total of 5 APs
ECs: Varsity tennis (4 years) on a state-championship team
90+ hours of community service
Editor-in-chief of my school newspaper
Student council secretary
...there are lots of others, I just won't name them

Awards/honors: National Merit Semifinalist; named the "Outstanding Junior Girl" at my high school; top 6% of the class
Essay: Excellent...writing is my forte. I also included a story that was published in a teen literary magazine.
Teacher recs: Very good!

I know I may not be the most exceptional student ever, but I'm really hoping my talent for writing will bolster my chances! I am in an exclusive AP Honors English course that only 10 kids at my high school are taking (out of a class of 250). In addition, I have written many articles for my school newspaper and have been involved in the publication of my school's literary magazine. I fell in love with Vanderbilt and am really hoping to get in. Am I a viable candidate??? Or should I not get too excited??
