I am currently a junior is high school and was curious to see what other thought about my chances of getting into the film program at Emerson. Here are some stats:
GPA (unweighted) 3.92
GPA (weighted) 4.1
SAT: 1800 Math: 590 Reading: 600 Writing: 610
I have received high honors every year of highs cool except for one quarter in freshman year.
Class difficulty: My classes have gotten harder each year. I am currently taking 3 Honors classes (English, Spanish and History), however, I am in a low level math course. Next year I will be taking 2 AP classes (Spanish and English).
High school Difficulty: My high school is more difficult than most in the state but is not a blue ribbon school.
Class Rank: Top 25%
Clubs: Member of the National Language Honors Society.
Community Service: 500+ hours, most of which I organized the groups.
Athletics: 1 year varsity wrestling (varsity letter), 1 year XC, 3 years rec b-ball and 2 years travel soccer. I was kept doing these sports for longer due to injuries that I have in both knees.
Other Awards: Won a CT Student Film Festival for best war veteran documentary. I filmed and edited the documentary.
Essays: I am a very strong writer.
Letters of recommendation: Very strong. I have two written already for me.
Thanks for your input!

Emerson: Low match

If you can get a 31+/2100+ then you might have a chance for USC.

Thanks for the input although I looked at my schools records with Emerson and saw that most kids who were accepted had a lower GPA than I do and 1700-1850 range SAT.
