Chances for Emory ED and some other schools

Hey I'm a senior Indian male from a public school in long island, ny. I wanted to know my chances for early decision at Emory and a couple of other schools. Any chances and suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Emory Early Decision
Georgetown University
University of Michigan - Ann Arbor
NYU
Boston University
George Washington University
Columbia University
Cornell University
University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill
Johns Hopkins University
Binghamton University
University of Maryland - College Park

I'll probably be majoring in Biology and fulfill pre med requirements but also some business courses to have the option of getting into the business schools at some of these colleges where they start after freshman or sophomore year.

Stats:
GPA: 3.75 unweighted/4.1 weighted
Rank: 12/210 this may have gone up I will find out my final ranking soon
SAT: Composite 2070 680 CR 670 M 720 W. This is after two SAT's and I probably will be taking the one in october
APs: Euro (5), Bio (5), USH (5), Comp (5), Psych (5). Taking Calc BC, Physics B, Stat, and Spanish this year. Took honors for every other class if that matters.

Extracurriculars:
Key Club: Board member freshman and sophomore year. Distinguished Webmaster junior and senior year. 200+ community service hours through key club
Track: Varsity Winter Track for 3 years
National Honor Society: Will be Vice President this year
Mu Alpha Theta: Will be President this year
Model Un: My friend and I started this club at our school last year and we are Co-presidents
AIDS Peer Educators: Past 3 years, not really any officers for this club
Volunteer Service at Temple: 150+ hours

I know I have a lot of schools on my list and I'm looking to cut it down and if some are unreasonable reaches I'm looking for some suggestions. Thanks!

I’m going to be brutally honest with you. Your GPA is below average for those schools (you would have to have at least a 3.85 UW), and your rank shows that although you took a very rigorous courseload, you’re still at a pretty subpar ranking (assuming your school isn’t super competitive).
Your SAT is VERY low for Georgetown, Columbia, Cornell, UNC-CH OOS, and Johns Hopkins, so that’s also a drawback. Get the SAT up to 2150+ to have a solid shot.
Your ECs are pretty solid, but there’s nothing spectacular besides Key Club. You need to find something that stands out, or you’re just going to be like every other nerdy indian student (I’m not saying you are, but this is how it’s coming across).

So…
Emory Early Decision–Low Reach
Georgetown University–Low Reach, but it’s pretty unpredictable
University of Michigan - Ann Arbor–OOS, Low Reach
NYU–High Match
Boston University–High Match
George Washington University–Match
Columbia University–High Reach
Cornell University–Mid-High Reach
University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill–OOS, Low-Mid Reach
Johns Hopkins University–Mid Reach
Binghamton University–Match/Safety
University of Maryland - College Park–OOS, High Match

Oh and about the GPA my school hasn’t officially release our grades on the 4.0 scale so i figured i have a 3.75 because my unweighted average is a 94, but I’ve never received anything below an A so some people are telling me that its higher so I’m a bit confused.

bump…anyone else care to help?

bump
took johns hopkins and cornell out of my list and im not applying to ED to emory anymore but instead early action to the following schools: UMich, Georgetown, Northeasterm, & UNC

since you chanced me i’ll chance you  THANKS AGAIN BY THE WAY!

I started typing the list when I realized it looked pretty much like golfer111’s.
The only thing that was different was UNC.
If you were instate you would be in, I’m sure.
However, since you’re from NY you would need a much higher gpa and SAT score because they only accept around 13% out of state applicants.

If you’re taking the SAT in october, then try going above a 2100 to outweigh your gpa’s. And I would suggest adding a few more safety just in case you don’t get in to a lot of those colleges (which I’m definitely NOT saying will happen, but it’s always good to be prepared)

yeah about the sats…i decided against taking them again after taking some practice sections and realizing im not doing as well i was before
