Do Emory take transfer student for the spring term?

What type of school, public or private? Better yet, which school (I live in Atlanta)? I have a bunch of friends at Emory. Our school usually sends about 8 or 9 out of 90 students to Emory. I could even ask them.

why are you doing early decision to penn, if you think you want to go to emory in the end?
