I'm instate btw

everything looks fine, you will probably get in but that math score is a bit low, I would try to get 700+

@foolish Will that math score hurt me at all? I’m planning on taking the Math 2 Sat 2 in October

idk, I would say no for SAS but for engineering it might
I don’t think rutgers takes SAT IIs

You don’t need to retake anything. You are a definite in. Especially as an in state student

rutgers avg. engineering SAT is 1890-2170, I wouldn’t get overconfident but you have probably a 50% chance of getting in at least.

I know they try to make it tougher every year, but from what people’s scores were last year I think you should have no problem at all. I had a 1950 SAT (all subjects about equal scores) and thought i was going to be the bottom of the barrel, this wasn’t the case at all.

I had a 30 ACT (with a really high math score however) which is around 2000 on the SAT, and I had a lower GPA than yours, so you are fine. Rutgers does not take into account SAT IIs. Do not worry about the scores, I guarantee that you will be accepted. And if by the off chance that your not (almost impossible), you will likely be in SAS in which case you can transfer to Engineering if you have taken the general first year courses (Chem phys calc). My friend had a 1600-1700 on the SAT and GPA similar to yours and he was accepted (really late into January).

I think you’re fine. Apply early.

Wow I thought I read “I’m insane” at the end of the last part and I was like that might be a problem hahaa.

Your numbers are very solid and you would be in the higher tier of what the engineering school accepts. I think your SATs are a little low to be considered into the honors program for engineering though.
