New York University (Tisch, Cinema Studies)

University of Southern California (Cinema-Television, Critical Studies)

Northwestern University (Film)

University of California Berkeley (Film)

University of Rochester (Film)

University of Miami (Film)

it doesnt matter what your grades are for tisch, unless youre really good at film, you wont get it. same for the other schools unlesss youre just applying to the normal school as a film major oppposed to a special program

^ Yeah, that's the problem, film schools are based on how good you are, as I'm sure you know, USC accepts something crazy like 5% of applicants.

I would like reiterate that for USC and NYU, I'm applying to the studies programs rather than those for production. People in admissions at both schools told me that production experience is less necessary for admission into studies (USC was much more direct with respect to this, however I should take that).

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to convince anyone here that I'm proper material for those schools, but doesn't anyone think that this will make a difference?

u got (much) higher stats then NYU, USC, and URochester. i'd say the only one on ur list thats a reach is northwestern. and um join some more clubs...

You seem very academic based. Almost no EC's, and definitely none pertaining to film. I think that might really kill you. Even though you say that you're not doing prouction, surely these colleges need some indication of your skill, passion, and commitment to film?
