Well now that my junior year is almost over I would love it if I could receive some chances for the following schools. I put what I believe is my chance in parentheses.
FAU (85%)
USF (50%)
UCF (50%)
FSU (30%)
UF (10%)

Here is my profile.
White male from decent public high school.
3.762 Overall Weighted GPA
3.306 Unweighted

In my academic classes
3.692 W
3.385 UW

ACT: 28
SAT: 1190/1790 (580 Math 610 English 600 W) Superscored

EC (weak)
Part time job at a grocery store (15-20 hrs/wk, the schedule fluctuates so I cannot do many else EC's)
Volunteer at a courthouse 3 hrs/wk
1 year varsity water polo (sophomore)
English Honor Society

Other
First Generation
HUGE upward trend- 3.125W Freshman year to now a 4.25W junior yr.

Any chances would be greatly appreciated!

The upward trend in your grades from a 3.125W to a 4.25 W is going to make your GPA look better to colleges. Also, are you using the Florida University weighting system or the high school weighting system.
High school weighting: H +1 AP/IB +2
University weighting: H +0.5 AP/IB +1
Your SAT score is good, but not outstanding. I would normally say that first generation makes a significant difference, but in Florida that is not much of a distinction. Also, I would try to do something this summer to improve your ECs (camp counselor or nursing home for suggestions). As for chances, hoping you do something this summer to aid your ECs…
FAU - 99%
USF - 85%
UCF - 60%
FSU - 30%
UF - 10%
I hope this helps.
P.S. Be sure to explain in your admission essay what you have done to create an upward trend in your grades

Consider UF a high reach. I don’t see how you can be rejected from FAU, however. Your GPA is above a 3.0; that’s practically good enough.

My high school has the same weighting system as the SUSF system. Thanks for the chances! I am really just looking to go to UCF since I live in Orlando, but their acceptance rate is dramatically dropping.

You will get in everywhere but UF. If you are a URM, you might even get in there.

Submit your ACT scores, not your SAT.

No I am white :-(. I already submitted both to colleges by choosing before I took the test where to send them to save the money. Will colleges look in favor of the ACT instead of the SAT? Thanks for the chances.
