<p>I was wondering what my chances of getting accepted into FIU where. I am sort of confused because all the locals down here told me that any idiot can get into FIU and some really dumb people have been accepted (people with low GPA and test scores) and stuff. But I keep reading online that it is a selective school and they are picky.</p>
<p>So here's some information.
First off I'm a white female,
I'm also out of state (from Cleveland, Ohio)
My High school GPA from Freshman-Junior year is 2.7
(Freshman and Sophomore year i did really bad, but my Junior year I pretty much got mostly As and a couple Bs)
First two years i went to a private school, and the last two were public.
I bombed my SATs because I took them my junior year and didn't study I believe I scored somewhere in between 1100-1200.</p>
<p>I also applied late, I applied in November and my current school (which is an online school), had some difficulties sending out my transcripts, but finally got them out, so FIU probably just received my transcripts only a few days ago (somewhere around 11/21/2010)</p>
<p>Even If I don't get accepted into the Fall Term do you think I should just apply to MDC for the Summer term and fall term then will FIU accept me because I have some college credit, and take it seriously</p>
