It is the summer before my senior year of high school and I am freaking out! I really want to get into a pharmacy program and be a pharmacist but I just don't feel like I am smart enough anymore! My top two choices are University of the Sciences in Philadelphia and Wilkes University b/c of their proximity to my hometown. My SATs are horrible: 1680 (570 CR, 550 M, 560 W) is my highest :''( and my ACT isn't any better: 25 comp (30 E, 26 M, 21 R, 21 S). I just don't get it...I do well in school taking honors and AP classes and have a decent GPA of 94.53/100 (don't know 4.0 scale) and a class rank in the top 10% but when it comes to these tests, I'm like the village idiot! In the next two weeks, I'll be shadowing pharmacists. One is a clinical pharmacist at Thomas Jefferson University hospital and the other is a pharmacist at a small, family owned pharmacy. Do you think these opportunities will improve my chances of getting into USP?! I just visited 2 days ago and I fell in love with it... Also, if you can, could you recommend other pharm programs/majors for me? Thanks so much for reading all of this. sorry it's so long

USP: Match
Wilkes: Match/High match

Thanks, anyone else?

LOL omgg I’m in the exact same position as you, same grade, sat, and gpa xD haha, USP is my dream school too !! Anyway, I heard usp pharm. accepts students with SAT’s as low as 1600(don’t take my word for it, loll), so I’m pretty sure you’ll be fine. As long as you maintain your gpa, and take more clubs or volunteer, you should be fine !
