chances for fsu med honors?

i'm a junior in high school who just finished her first semester. after a semester of IB my unweighted gpa has dropped down from a 3.87 to a 3.68=4.5 W. This FSU weighted (I included both my sciences chem and bio) is a 4.15. I haven't taken my ACT/SAT yet but been practicing. Has my decreased gpa narrowed my chances? If so, what other accelerated med programs could i possibly be accepted to and look at?

The [FSU Honors Medical Scholars Program](http://honors.fsu.edu/medical.html) is extremely competitive, as you might expect. I would suggest you contact those faculty operating the program and ask what qualifications are competitive for entry. From the video by the FSU Med dean, part of the process is to work with high school students, so early contact is preferable.
