HI. I am living in mexico but i have also lived in other places such as florida which created my interest in going to either fsu of uf for college. Those are bassicaly my top choices. I would love to know my chances of getting in and how. I can improve myself for my senior year in high school that is coming up. I would also like to know if my bacground gives interest to colledge admissions because i am fluent in english spanish and french since i am french american and i have lived in countries like colombia venezeuela chile and mexico.this is just to know if that benefits me as to grades.
I got a 1580 first time i took the sat .planning on doing way better this coming october. I have taken 3 ib classes and 3 aps in english spanish and french. Finally my gpa is a 3.3/4
In the end if someone could answer these questions i would be very happy and thankfull
Thanks

Each University has a website that can give you details about being an international student. Review each site, and then post any questions you may have in each colleges forum.

[University of Florida - Admissions](Freshman International - University of Florida)

<a href=“FSU Admissions | Error 404 page not found”>http://admissions.fsu.edu/international/

For FSU, the academic profile of the middle 50% of freshmen accepted in 2013 was:

3.9-4.7 weighted GPA
26-30 ACT composite
1730-1960 SAT total

For UF, the middle 50% of the (2012) class:

High School GPA of 4.0 - 4.4
SAT of 1810-2080
ACT of 27 - 29

These GPA’s are weighted, so an A in an AP class is worth 5 points (+1 point for APs/DE/AICE/IB), while a B in a honor’s class is worth 3.5 (+0.5 point for honors).

You may also want to take a look at the other state universities in Florida, such as UCF, USF, FAU and FIU. All have large Latin student groups. I highly recommend College Navigator for details on each of these universities (such as cost/tuition, enrollment/admissions, and programs/majors).

Good Luck!
