Chances for Georgetown Admission?

Junior at competitive public high school with a number of students that get perfect SATs and take many AP courses. My numbers: SATs 720/750/770; SAT Subject Test (only one taken thus far, need 2 more) U.S. History 790, unweighted GPA 3.9, class rank not known, maybe top 5% or higher. Woulf like to study political science ECs: Have loved and played basketball since toddler - Varsity Basketball, but not good enough to play in college, Co-captain of one of my recent AAU basketball teams, JV Basketball award for outstanding effort/leadership; NHS as junior, volunteer at local shelter that serves meals to poor and homeless, volunteer at local basketball camp, active in It's Academic Club but not an officer. Plan to go to South American country most of this summer to teach basketball and English, and become fluent in Spanish (have studied Spanish for about 4 yrs). I consider Georgetown a reach - please advise

Your numbers are good. Apply REA, it should help your chances a little bit.

I am new to CC and whole college admissions process, is REA same as early action?

Basically, the only difference is that you can’t apply to any other schools early (Restrictive Early Action), though you can apply to other schools RD.

Thank you for this advice. Is it woth applying to multiple reach schools, hoping that one of these will accept you?
