What are my chances for the MSB school at Georgetown and for Notre Dame? I'm a Junior white male.

After writing your personal statement to ND, just write a little “p.s - I’ve wanted to go to this school since the day I’ve seen Rudy =D.”

But you don’t think all of the time I spend on sports gives me very good EC? Like… I have to stretch the rules a bit to even be in a club. Sports/homework basically take up all of my time.

Bun dun da dun dun. Bump bump!

Three varsity sports is a good pull, but it doesn’t give you a lot of range or breadth. You’ve got sports and academic ECs, a little unspecified community service, but nothing that jumps out and shows who YOU are. Perhaps that could be mitigated by a very strong essay or personal statement, but right now it’s not diverse enough.

If you bump up your SAT a bit more, you’re on track for Georgetown! I was admitted with a 2130, so SAT isn’t all that matters! However, what state are you from? That might make a difference.

I’m from New York. I live on Long Island.

bump… more opinions?

bump with 720 CR, 780 Math, and 740 Writing. Also, my weighted GPA is around 96, with my unweighted around 91. Steady downward trend in GPA
