I'm currently a grade 11 student in Ontario, Canada.
My goal is to apply to Georgetown and Cornell later this year.
Virtually no one's applying to US colleges in my school, so I have no way to compare my extracurriculars or SAT results. I'm posting to see where I stand.
BTW my records aren't the GREATEST... ahahah

SAT Reasoning:
750 - Math
750 - Critical Reading
800 - Writing
Total : 2300

SAT Subject:
800 - Math IIC
780 - World History
770 - Chemistry

AP:
5 - AP Calculus BC
5 - AP Macroeconomics
4 - AP Microeconomics

**Scheduled to take AP English and MAYBE AP Chemistry next year

GPA (REALLY BAD):
In Canada, we don't have gpa's like in US high schools..
My percent average is 88....... -_- I know
There's around 300 people in my grade, I'm guessing I'm at least in the top 20% HOPEFULLY

Extra Curriculars:
2008 ~ 2010 - Grade representative (gr. 9 and 10)
2010 ~ 2011 - School council treasurer
2011 ~ 2012 - School council president (present)

2006 ~ 2009 - York Youth Symphony Orchestra 2nd Violin Principal
2009 ~ 2010 - Church orchestra concertmaster
2010 ~ 2011 - Charity orchestra (True North Foundation Boreal Orchestra) Member

200+ hours of community service hours
Constant opinion contributor to award winning school newspaper

Just some more facts:
I WILL be applying for financial aid (my family has no way of paying all of that US tuition)
I'm an Asian-Canadian (Chinese)

SOO I know my records aren't that great or outstanding...
But anyone, please let me know my chances!
AND just a question about Georgetown. Do they have a need blind financial aid policy for Canadians or do they treat Canadians the same way they treat other international applicants?
