Chances for Georgetown EA?

<p>Trying to finish my application this weekend, and I just want to see what people think I should be expecting in December...</p>

<p>Georgetown College
Major: English</p>

<p>High School: Public, fairly competitive (ranked in the top ten most successful for our state)</p>

<p>GPA: 4.97 (unweighted)/ 5.83 (weighted) (5-point scale, 6 points for honors and AP)
Rank: 12/~680--My rank will NOT be reported on my transcript because my school doesn't "officially" report it, but my counselor told me at the end of last year. </p>

<p>SAT Scores: 1570
CR: 800
M: 770</p>

<p>ACT Composite: 35</p>

<p>SAT Subject Tests:
U.S. History: 800
Math II: 790
Literature: 700</p>

<p>Extracurriculars: (kinda weak)
International affairs club (president grades 11 and 12)
Student Newspaper (writer grades 10 and 12)
National Honors Society (grade 12)
Community service at food pantry and cancer care center
Member of two other clubs
Paid job (grades 10, 11, 12; ~15 hrs/wk)</p>

<p>AP's:
Euro. History: 5 (grade 10)
U.S. History: 5 (grade 11)
Lang. and Comp.: 5 (grade 11)
Psych, Microecon, Calc AB, French Language scheduled for this year</p>

<p>Other stuff:
-National Merit Semi-finalist
-National French Honors Society
-Traveled to Australia and 2009 Inauguration with student ambassador group</p>

<p>This is a little off topic from my chances question, but I was just wondering if anyone knows much about the English program at Georgetown. I did a little research online, but I still wanted to hear more from people who go there or know someone who goes there and is an English major. I know English isn’t what Georgetown in known for, but it’d still be a great opportunity, right?</p>
