Check the Common Data sets of all your colleges and draw your own conclusions. 92% of all Georgetown freshmen were in the top 10% of their high school class.

Do the financial aid calculator for each school with your parents and find out how much they can pay. Find some safety schools you know will accept you and you can pay for. 1st gen college is not that much of a hook at a lot of schools. It will say on the Common Data set. Usually it is “considered” but grades and test scores are “very important.” If you KNOW you will get an MBA you can go to a no name college, get high grades, and go to a more prestigious school for the MBA. You have good SAT scores and grades so you’ll get into lots of schools. What is your home state? Good luck and keep asking questions.

My dad is very well off even though he didn’t go to college he is actually making low 6 figures

@connormarcum

In which state do you live?

Virginia

SAT scores are just one component, but your scores are well below the norm for Wharton/Penn and Northwestern. Always a chance but very tough.

You should add William & Mary and UVA because the business programs are superb and you are in state. Fordham is not worth coming east but Lehigh and Bucknell are. I would add those.

I would say you have a great shot at Richmond and Wake as well.

might add Holy Cross
