Thats about it! If everything goes the way it should recruiting wise for football I'll hopefully be attending Harvard next year! But as a regular applicant what are my chances for these schools? Thanks guys!

Other than Harvard, the rest are matches. Harvard is a reach for everyone, but applying SCEA would have increasedd your chance (Last year Harvard accepted nearly 21% at during and 3.5% during regular)

APUSH - 5
AP Gov - taking now
AP Calc A/B - 5
AP Calc B/C - taking now
AP Bio - 5
AP Physics - 5
AP Spanish - taking now
AP Environmental - taking now

With your scores, in tandem with your scores/grades, you have a strong application. Daughter is in New Haven and I know for a fact, if you are being recruited, it can be an appreciable edge. Kudos-

Yup. Also, one of my ex-teammates from college (I played college football) was a former football coach at Yale, so I know, especially with your grades/scores, that they can make a pretty lucid presentation to the admission folks. Let me know, if for some reason, these don’t workout ( although I highly doubt that), you need options.

@tjheguy - Congratulations to you for all you’ve accomplished so far.

Without football, I would be extremely surprised if you did not get into Harvard (top grades, top scores, top ECs, URM status). If the football team wants you, I’d say your odds of acceptance are close to 100%.

I’m not sure how it works with recruited athletes and RD - the worst case is that you will be viewed as a non-recruited athlete, but even then, you will still be in great shape, because you will be at the top of the applicant pool.

It helps that you’re African American. I’d say you have a really good chance for all of your schools. Also, your SAT and ACT are quite competitive: they are on the higher end of scores. Good luck to you!
