It's your gpa that will hurt you, as it is low for most of the schools (no offense). You have chances at them, just not good ones (no offense). However, you have some things going for you in that you are African-American (URM), you have a tough class schedule, and your weighted gpa is good. However, your class rank is not too good (you have a huge class).

Duke- Reach
Vanderbilt- Reach
U of Michigan- (Lowish) Reach
Georgetown- Reach
NYU- Low Reach (It depends on where you apply, as some schools in NYU are harder than others, and I also heard they are getting more applicants now)

Other people post too, as they may have greater knowledge, but Syracuse and Boston University are where you are most likely to get in.
Your best matches are Syracuse and Boston University

They do have one extremely strong college, the Newhouse School of Communications. If you are going into communications, Syracuse would be a fine choice. Look at their website, they can provide you with more info. I'm sure not all of the schools in Syracuse are good, so it depends what you're going to major in. Check their website.

**Id say ur aiming a little high as well...try some safeties just in case. If ur GPA was a little higher id say the low reaches COULD turn into matches. Even though ur from Florida, you should try some SUNY schools (since ur willing to go to syracuse).
