Hi. I am a junior looking at Georgetown as my first-choice school. I know it's very competitive and I was wondering if you guys could estimate if I could get in. I think I am going to apply early action!

GPA: 3.89
SAT: 2200
APs: Art History, Calculus, American Literature, Chemistry, Biology, maybe a couple others.
ECs: Student VP, Youth Government (state-wide), Women's Leadership club president.

I really love this school! Any recommendations of other places I could get in, or if I could get in Georgetown? Thanks!

I think your stats look good. One of my children went through SFS, while the other did MSB. You mention your GPA but is that your wtd GPA or Unwtd? You did not mention which school you are interested in attending there. This will matter as well. SFS is a bit more competitive.

As for recommending other schools, it would depend upon what you plan on studying.

Your stats seem really condensed, but I’m sure you have a lot more… Just taking a cursory look, you have a good GPA and great test scores, so you probably have a good shot in most places, Georgetown included… Have you received your scores yet for some of the AP’s? Your EC’s also seem a bit condensed… (if that’s all you have, I apologize… I just don’t know if you cut some out since you explicitly said that you made it purposely short); but, in regards to the EC’s, they seem to be focused on one passion - politics and law - which evidently seems to be your intended major, so that should be looked on favorably (that you know what you want)…
