I've expressed interest in Georgetown by visiting the school last November. My alumni interview went very well. We talked for over two and a half hours, made a real connection and she has kept in contact with me since the interview. My teacher recommendations were from a Masters of English from Meredith College and a PhD in Medicine from Duke University, both of whom highly recommended me. I'm from North Carolina, and I was the only student from my school this year to apply. We've sent 5 students to Georgetown before, four of whom completed their Masters at Georgetown, and one who got their Bachelors there. I was just rejected by WUSTL, which is why I'm afraid I won't get into Georgetown.

your SAT scores and weighted GPA are pretty low. your EC’s are ok, but being in only music EC’s probably is bad in the long run, especially since there are no leadership positions like drum major or section leader. Since your school has a history of sending students to georgetown and apparently you have great recommendations your chances are boosted. overall though, your chances probably arent too high

Not a very good chance, buddy. You never know, so best of luck.

Sorry to say but your test scores, GPA and class rank are all against you and under the midpoints for the 2015 class. But, however, one never knows with the selective schools until the envelope arrives. Good luck.
