hi everyone! i’m a senior applying to georgetown EA! would really appreciate knowing what you think my chances of getting in are!!
ACT Composite: 33, writing: 10
Unweighted GPA: 3.93
Weighted GPA: 4.65
Course Load: I took 4 AP classes junior year (AP Chem is double period), honors pre-cal and orchestra. Senior year I’m taking 3 APs (bio is double period), honors physics and orchestra. i’m also a student aid for my pre-cal teacher from last year.
AP Scores: 5 on AP US Gov and Chem, 4 on AP Lang and Spanish
SAT Subject Tests: 750 on Chem, I’m taking Math 2 and Spanish on Saturday and even though I want at least a 700 I haven’t really gotten higher than 650 on any of my practice tests.

Extracurriculars:
-NHS tutor
-National Science Honor Society, National Math Honor Society
-shadowed my dentist over the summer
-I have my own private piano students
-play piano and violin
-i’m the lead pianist for my community choir
-i created and co-edited 4 yearbooks for my “Sunday School”
-I organized 2 fundraisers for the American Cancer Society and raised over $10,000 and I’m working on a third fundraiser but it won’t be done before Nov 1

My essays should be good because I’ve been working on them with my teachers for the past few weeks and they’ve all told me they’re good.

Georgetown is my #1 school and I really really hope I get in!! I’m mostly worried about having SAT Subject Test scores under 700. does anyone have an idea of my chances??? thank you

I can’t properly give you an assessment unless I know more about your major and intended school you’re applying for, but SAT subject scores aren’t very important. The main reason why Georgetown requires it is to ensure that the applicants are serious about Georgetown, to the degree that they’re willing to take an extra subject test and do a separate application. From your ECs, I’m assuming NHS or College, given the medical-leanings. NHS is the most competitive school, and your ACT is a bit on the low side, so you’d need pretty strong ECs/essays to make up for that.
