hey guy’s so I know the deadline for ASU is fast approaching (the first) and I was wondering what my shots with ASU applications was.

I don’t meet the math requirement because senioritis gave me a D+ in math analysis and since I am A C average math student I’m pretty sure that killed the C average needed.

3.0 academic GPA

23 ACT score (22 on math section)

Applied for Global Studies major

right now all they need are my transcripts but im waiting until I can get the new ACT scores I just took before they consider me completely, btw im an out of state student.

I am honestly worried I will not get accepted because of my math scores and it worries me, any advice?

ASU is not very hard to get into and you should be fine. I beleive for out of state they require one of four requirements. Either 3.0 gpa, 1110 sat, 24 act, or top 25% of your class. You have a 3.0 gpa and your Act is only a point off ( not to mention you have another score coming) so you should be fine. As far as the math requirement goes they allow for, i believe, 3 deficiencies for academic subjects (except engineering which you aren’t going into). I guess the only thing I can say is that you applied very late so that might hinder you but I highly doubt it.

However will you be able to pay for ASU because these stats will not get you any scholarships and since you applied late you might not get the best financial aid and out of state tuition + room and board isnt cheap.

I got into ASU with a 3.0 GPA and a 25 on my ACT, i’m also an out of state student. I think you should be absolutely fine with those stats. I’m attending ASU starting in Fall 11 as a Freshman…hope to see you there! :)
