Chances for getting into BU?

Hi, I am currently a senior. I was wondering what my chances are to getting into BU? I go to a selective private school (might be important, explains my low GPA). I am also planning on applying Early Decision. I am applying to the school of Engineering for Biomedical Engineering. I am also Hispanic and coming from New Mexico.

GPA: 3.06
Rank: UR
ACT: 34
Extracurricular activities:
Teacher’s Assistant (11 and 12)
Volunteer Work at Animal Shelter (9-12)
Student Leader for Volunteer Work (10, 11, 12)
Varsity Fencing (9, 10, 11, 12)
JV Track (9, 10)
Student Disciplinary Adviser (9, 10, 11, 12)
Science Club Member (11)
Youth Leader at Cafe Scientifique (11, 12)
Various Summer Camps and such for sciences

Honors/ AP classes (my school offers 3 AP’s)
Biology AP
Physics B AP
Honors Chemistry

Academic Honors:
National Hispanic Merit Scholar Honorable Mention (12)
Honor Roll (11)

I really appreciate any and all feedback!
Other schools I am applying to:
Drexel
Stony Brook
Wentworth Institute of Tech
Worcester Polytechnic
CUNY City College
Columbia (giant reach)
and looking for 2-3 more

Your GPA is low but you are hispanic so that will help. You’ll probably get into BU especially with your great ACT score.

Good chances at Drexel, Stony Brook, Wentworth, WPI, and CUNY. Obviously Columbia is a huge reach but you already knew that.

Sorry to be this person, but bump! I really want to apply early decision, but I’m afraid I’ll get rejected. Also, some information:
GPA went up:
9: 2.72
10: 3.00
11: 3.48

I am also a Ventures Scholar (don’t know if that changes anything)
Also, I will be happy to chance back, I just need a link.

I think you have good chance, especially if you apply ED.
