You’ll get in if you apply ED. BU has a thing for high test scores. Coming from an underrepresented state will likely help too. Write a good essay and you’ll be in.

BU: match
Drexel: match
Stony Brook: match
Wentworth Institute of Tech: safety, really

The good news: you’ll go to college. Don’t worry about that. All of the schools you list, with the exception of Columbia, are doable. Columbia’ll be a little more difficult because of the GPA, but the private school factor, coupled with your rigor and ACT score, keeps you afloat for the other ones. BU’s your reach, for sure.

Drexel: Match
BU: Reach (but ACT score is keeping you alive)
WIT: Low Match
WPI: Match
City College: Safety
Stony Brook: Low Match
Columbia: About as likely as me getting into Cornell ED (which is -20%). Just kidding… but it’s an uber-reach.

That GPA is ugly but oh my is that ACT gorgeous! Upward trend and URM helps a lot too!

BU: High match

CUNY City College: Safety
Columbia (giant reach): Giant reach

well at least youve got a 34 on the act. that accounts for about 40% of your application. BU you probably can reach it. im also looking into BU and stony brook maybe if your gpa was 3.5ish you would definitely be able to reach almost all of the schools there. well, sometimes luck might come to you so don’t feel obligated to not apply for some. go for it and good luck
(thanks for answering mine btw)

The only major problem is your GPA. It is really low. Your extracurricular’s are great and your standardized test scores are absolutely amazing and well above the 75th percentile for BU. All being said I think you have an excellent chance of getting in and you are a well-rounded individual as your extracurriculars are not just career focused
